MEM Federal Credit Union
is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative located within the Bruceton Research Center in South Park, Pennsylvania. We strive to be our member's primary financial institution by offering quality and affordable products and services in a professional and friendly manner.
We offer competitively priced rates on savings and investment accounts, as well as our loan products. MEM Federal Credit Union continually adds new products and services to better serve the changing needs or our membership.

A Bit of our History -
The
MEM Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1935 and was primarily sponsored by the Department of Interior's U.S. Bureau of Mines Pittsburgh Research Center, the Department of Energy's Pittsburgh Energy Technology Center (DOE), and Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). In the 1970's the Bureau of Mines, the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and
MEM Federal Credit Union relocated to the Bruceton Research Center in South Park. In 1996 the Bureau of Mines became the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Our current Board Chairman is Bill Obricki, and the President of the Credit Union is Tim Irons.
Who can join? -
Employees and their family members of NIOSH, MSHA, and DOE, and their Contractors are eligible for membership with
